Woburn
(provided by Bedford Estates/Woburn Abbey)
Ambiorix (sire at Stedemanshof since 1998)

[ Ambiorix July 2002. (age 6): 11,5 kilogram hard antler. ]
This stag is a son of Berryend's, who was used as a sire at Woburn farm for some time because of his exceptionally
strong antlers. He was later returned to Woburn Park, where he spent the rest of his life. He once grew a
head with 42 points!
Ambiorix produces extremely good offspring.
Howland (sire at Stedemanshof since 2001)
As a 3-year-old, Howland produced 7.9 kilogram hard antler. Clearly, he is a son of Russell's, the current
master stag at Woburn farm.

who produced 14,5 kilogram hard antler and 42 points at 8 years of age. ]

[ Russell, a magnificent animal! ]
It is interesting to know that Howland was used as a sire at Woburn farm at the age of 2 and 3.
Actually, this reveals the quality of this stag, or, to put it in the words of Callum Thomson
(Head Deerkeeper at Woburn Abbey): "This stag is going to be a monster"! That is why Stedemanshof bought him.
