Some of these hinds bore Ambiorix's calves this year (2001). All 7 hinds will go with Howland next mating season. One of the 2 stagcalves proved himself a worthy son of his father's as of age 1. He did very well and all 15 hinds given to him (daughters of Midmar 122 and Sir John's) were inseminated. They gave birth to their calves without any problem. In 2002 Junior's 'harem' will consist of about 25 selected hinds. About ten of these will be available for export by the end of December (after scanning).
